A beautiful and hard wearing heavyweight handmade Japanese selvedge denim oven mitt from West Japan Tools, the kitchen product arm of Masakage and Kotetsu’s Shibata san.

The mitt fits halfway up James’s arm so offers plenty of protection along with the heat rsesistant padded mitt part, it’s comfortable and easy to slip on and off and can be hung using the small leather strap on the side.
